Change, waiting on the world…

15 Feb

I don’t know much about gun control but today I woke up in a parallel universe where there were no guns in the world. Unfortunately one could point his finger, cock his thumb and shoot another person dead. Tomorrow I hope to wake up in a perpendicular universe!

A world with no evil would be rather nice.

That would require a world without people.

If it had no evil you would no longer have a choice to do right or wrong so what would it mean to be good?

        Would I care?

Well, if you had no choice you would not be human so maybe you wouldn’t care 🙂

That’s an interesting question: If everyone is good, and you don’t have the choice between being good or evil, then what’s the point of being good? I guess the question comes from a Christian point of view. Because if you choose bad, you go to hell, and if you choose good, you go to heaven. So it’s a matter of reward. Do you only choose to do good because you get a reward at the end? Or because God is watching? Disclaimer: I’m an atheist, so I try to be good because it makes everyone feel better, especially me.
